May is one of the busiest months of the year for the tourism trade in China, with back-to-back international travel exhibitions. This year, Dragon Trail attended PATA’s Annual Summit 2026 in Gyeongju, South Korea; ETOA’s China European Marketplace in Guangzhou; Guangzhou International Travel Fair; and ITB China, alongside several other Shanghai events that we organized on behalf of our clients. We’ve loved meeting up with old friends and making new connections during these busy days – here are a few snapshots!
PATA Annual Summit

Cambodia Airports Destination Promotion Conference, Shanghai
Dragon Trail organized a destination promotion conference for Cambodia Airports in Shanghai on 25 May for Chinese travel trade professionals and media, launching a new online training course at the event.
Experience Oman Media Event, Shanghai
Dragon Trail hosted a media event in Shanghai on 27 May to promote Oman as a slow travel destination.
ITB China
The Dragon Trail team attended ITB China from 26-28 May in Shanghai. CEO George Cao moderated a conference session on Chinese outbound tourism; we supported exhibiting clients including ITB’s Official Partner Destination, Georgia, as well as Oman; and we met with many other friends and partners from around the world.
