The Ministry of Heritage & Tourism, the Sultanate Oman has officially appointed Dragon Trail International as its official marketing representative in China, starting from January 1, 2025. Dragon Trail will be responsible for all business activities of The Ministry of Heritage & Tourism, the Sultanate Oman in the Chinese market, including the Travel Trade, Public Relations, Social Media, Marketing, and MICE.

Located in the south-eastern part of the Arabian Peninsula, Oman attracts tourists with its rich natural and cultural heritage and is a jewel of heritage that exudes a unique charm. It is also known as the ‘Museum of the Earth’ because of its beaches, deserts, canyons, rivers, mountains and oases. Muscat, the capital, is a blend of modernity and tradition, with the magnificent Grand Mosque of Sultan Qaboos and the ancient bazaar of Matola. Sur is famous for its shipbuilding industry and is a great place to explore Oman’s maritime history. Oman’s natural beauty is equally stunning, with rolling sand dunes for desert exploration and camping. Canyons such as Wadi Shab are a trekker’s paradise, with clear pools of water and sheer rock walls. Rivers and oases bring life to this arid land, and the ancient ‘faraj’ irrigation system demonstrates the Omani ingenuity of water management and is still in use today. Whether it’s historical sites or natural wonders, Oman offers visitors a unique travel experience.

In addition, Oman has many peaceful beaches, mysterious canyons and ancient villages, and the much sought after self-drive, diving and dolphin watching trips have become popular in recent years and are waiting to be explored by Chinese tourists.

Saada Abdullan Saif Al Harthi, Director of Business Development at The Ministry of Heritage & Tourism, the Sultanate Oman, said: “We are delighted to appoint Dragon Trail as our marketing representative in China.
