Award-winning Chinese actress Sun Yi visited Georgia in August 2026 for a three-day photo and video shoot for Lifestyle (精品购物指南) media, coordinated together with Dragon Trail International and Georgian National Tourism Administration. As the cover story for a special edition of Lifestyle magazine released in September 2026, Sun Yi’s trip generated nearly 60 million exposures and 206,000 engagements across four social media platforms and print media, bringing unprecedented exposure to Georgia as a unique and stunning tourism destination for Chinese travelers.
As GNTA’s official representative in China, Dragon Trail pitched the story and shooting idea to Lifestyle media, and worked together with them to coordinate the trip.

Sun Yi visited Tbilisi, Kakheti, Ananuri, Gudauri, and Kazbegi during her five days in Georgia, including mountain landscapes, famous churches and monuments, city streets and cafés, and a traditional wine cellar and vineyard.
Lifestyle’s team produced a total of 20 photos – which GNTA has permission to use for its own promotions – along with a five-minute video (watch below) and a two-minute behind-the-scenes video, which both give special thanks to GNTA in the end credits. Lifestyle also edited and published six teaser videos of 30 seconds or less.
Published on a weekly basis, Lifestyle’s average print circulation is 650,000. Sun Yi’s photos in Georgia featured on the cover and in a 12-page cover story in the 4 September edition, alongside an accompanying four-page destination feature on traveling in Georgia. This issue was promoted at more than 30 major airports in China in collaboration with RedNote and several beauty brands as a special product giveaway for passengers.
Lifestyle published the trip’s videos and promoted the issue in 42 posts across Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, and WeChat. Meanwhile, Sun Yi also posted about the trip on her own social media, reaching more than 2.6 million exposures and 27,000 engagements.
